Janelle Monáe on BBC4 now. Brilliant. Saw her in the Pav back in 2011 before she first did Glastonbury and after seeing her on Jols Holland, top 3 gigs I was ever at.
‘A Forest’ is possibly my favourite Cure song
This is just a magnificent, epic performance
Disintegration!!!
And “Lullaby” make it number 5.
Plainsong
Pictures of You
Lovesong
Lullaby
Fascination Street
Disintegration
Which one did I miss?
Last Dance
It was played about sixth in the set
Plainsong and Disintegration weren’t played at Malahide where only 5 songs from the album were played in 2 hours and 20/25 minutes
That was one of the great Glastonbury performances
They nailed it
Burn was the only song where the mix was a bit off - apart from that the sound was superb all through
Robert Smith is a beautiful man
Janelle Monae. Holy shit.
Seriously impressive
Janelle Monae is playing in Dublin on Wednesday, tickets still available
Is there any non-country-blocked site you can watch her set online?
what does he sing?
Unrale. Go and see her if you can
Twinkle twinkle little star but in the style of Prince. Will be your scene soon
Classic this kid nails it
Not staged at all
I doubt it. Saw ghostface killah a couple years ago in Dublin and did the same thing, a kid from Dublin absolutely killed it, it was brilliant.
Is that for real?
He was wearing a fucking PSG jersey and all
Is that a PSG Jersey I see out there in the 50000 people
