My gift is my song and this one’s for you
Elton is a good sort

Quickly Kevin had Harry Bassett on recently. He spoke incredibly lovingly of Elton. Elton seems an incredible decent fella when it comes to football anyway
The second one.
yerra it is no Hellfest, that is for sure
Line up looks unimpressive enough this year.
Persuade me otherwise.
Dua Lipa on Friday night might be alright.
Line up at Glastonbury has being going backwards for years. The really top acts figured out a while back that they could sell out arenas by themselves and they didn’t need festivals.
Plus the likes of Glastonbury and Electric Picnic selling out each year means they don’t need to really do an awful lot when it comes to headliners.
It’s the experience people are after.
Isn’t this usually in August ?
Still, Glastonbury is the only European festival that still does attract the top names because of its reputation. I can’t stand Coldplay, I think they’re a load of shit but they’re an undeniably big name and I don’t think that they play any other European festivals nowadays?
And the sheer number of acts there means it will always have a good lineup, regardless of headliner quality.
EP has generally always had a fairly solid lineup down the way but have really fucked it this year.
The last two years had Guns N’ Roses and Paul McCartney. They are “top acts” in any person’s language.
This year has Coldplay, who are a top act in terms of popularity, it’s just that they’re shite.
No that’s the World Snooker Championship and the Champions League knockout stages.
Elton John too
Shania Twain has the “Legends” slot this year.
That’s a bit underwhelming. I’d nearly say that don’t impress me much.
They seem to going up against the euros so the organisers were always going to go cheap.
The split season has ruined Glastonbury.
Janelle Monae is playing Sunday evening. She was off the hook, off the chain the last time she played in 2019, which was an all round belter of a Glastonbury.
Michael Kiwanuka on Saturday evening could be good but I won’t see that.
To help you plan, here is the full line-up and set timings across Glastonbury’s 10 biggest stages.

Nothing to do with Euros, always clashes with major tournaments. Saw the hand of God goal there in 86, artists never got rich by playing there, it’s the “vibe” man, the honour of being asked
Maybe but things tend to be run by accountants now. No opportunity is missed.
No maybe about it. Half of all Glastonburys clashed with major tournaments
