Huge contingent over from Scotland as usual with Grand Mistress Kirsty McAnish leading the way.
There’s a junior minister outside the sitting room window making pinting signals.

Signing out.
Who’s on commentary duties here in Maghera, South Londonderry? It’s like listening to Eamonn Fitzmaurice.
A real coup for Maghera as Harold Henning, Grand Master of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland is there as a VIP marcher.
It’s Dr. David Hume.
There are two Dr. Davids I’d love to have a pint with. Hickey and Hume.
Things I learned today: The Skeleton drum is a drum unique to Co. Londonderry.
Footballer Michael Thomas is over from Canada to march.
Hopefully the political future of the wee six is not up for grabs now.
The Junior Lodges Association of Ireland celebrating 100 years this year.
Joseph Magill sounds like a suspiciously Catholic name though.
The Fenton family enjoying the day in Sixmilecross. Not sure if they’re related to Brian or John.
“There’s real enthusiasm among the young people that want to learn about their culture, their past and their people.”
“Without a Junior Orange Lodge, there will never be a Senior Orange Lodge.”
“From little acorns grow big trees.”
Mol an óige agus tiocfaidh síad.
Off the Sixmilecross now in the terrific county of Tyrone.
I note some Tyrone GAA flags hanging from buildings in Sixmilecross.
Duran Duran not the only band celebrating 40 years on the road this summer as so are the Sixmilecross Flute Band.
I imagine the brethren were Hungry Like The Wolf when they got to the demonstration field.
This chap being interviewed here seems like a grand harmless sort.
“Ice cream to your heart’s content, just don’t overdo it! (laughs)”.
Off to Donegal in Southern Ireland now for a recap of last week’s festivities by the beach. The Eire brethren weren’t so lucky with the weather last Saturday.
Imagine what the poor fuckers working on Stena/P&O have to put up with them absolute ne’erdowell’s pissed up all over the shop.
Congratulations to Drumartin Lodge on 100 years of Orangeism in Cavanshire.
A great story of co-operation between Skea Bridge and Gransha Lodges. The two are separate lodges but share the same flute band, the Mullaghy Flute Band. A sory of co-operation which many GAA clubs could learn a lot from. They have a new banner this year for the Fermanagh demonstration in Kesh which they’re very excited about. Let’s hope none of their flute players are Mullaghers.
You could fry an egg on the street in Kesh today with the heat and knowing the stoic Ulster mindset many of them they probably did.
Kesh now for the mostly westerly demonstration in the United Kingdom in 2025.
No scum on the shore of lovely Lough Erne at Kesh like you have in Catholic areas of the Lough Neagh shore.
Kesh has the only fully functioning Orange arch in the entirety of County Fermanagh.
County Grand Master Mervyn Byers says you need to be there yourself to savour the atmosphere and the usual good Fermanagh crack. How right he surely is but that brief highlights package gave us a strong taste of it all.
Back to Dundrum for the Late Late part of the show now.
Fantastic maroon trousers on some of the bandsmen in Dundrum there. I love the more unconventional Orange uniforms, especially the ones with the very loud blue trousers. It’s like a Ryder Cup uniform.
A black orange man, good love him.
Disappointing there was no coverage of the Liverpool/Southport Demonstration. Unless it featured at the very start. I missed the first 5 minutes.
And with that Helen Mark takes her leave of us.
Goodbye Glorious Twelfth for another year.
I have a completely legal doggy box this year so hopefully Ulster Televsion might have their own highlights package @ChairmanDan?
No BBC coverage from the mainland this year. Understandable that with 18 demonstrations somewhere will lose out but the events of last July and August in Southport proved how fervent demonstrations in that town can be.
Goodbye Glorious Twelfth.
