The 90s was the peak of classic gk kits. Schmeicel had a iconic green one at United. He also had a one with coloured balls at Denmark. Barthez with his short sleeves. Campos with his multicoloured efforts.

Back when Eyetalan football used to be on the telly, I remember a lot of Eyetalan club goalies had fancy loud colours before those colours were a thing. Always teams like Ancona, Lecce, Foggia etc.
Leighton with the green jersey and white socks , no teeth and bow legged letting in howlers . Iconic .

I wanted the replica Spanish keepers jersey that Zubizarreta wore that faithful afternoon in Lansdowne Road in April 1989. Think he only wore it that match. What a day that was, in the east stand lower in line with penalty spot at the north end of the ground. Bring back afternoon internationals.
