The Good Luck With Everything Brendan Rodgers Thread

Damien Duff favorite to take over

Lennons appointment is a perfect indication of where celtic are at these days.
Id had it on good authority that there were ructions at celtic alright, and heard various rumors about BR, and was hence slightly surprised when he turned the league form around, and i think his days were numbered in any case, but lennon’s appointment smacks of complacency, neglect and penny pinching tbh.

Too much charisma

Thats the end of the in a row run so.

Give it to Moyseh

Theyll need to make sure any contracts signed by neil are well witnessed :joy:

Moyseh wouldnt be a bad appointment tbh

Leicester have a decent enough young team, they have moved on most of the league winning side and have both plenty of pace and ball players in the squad. Rodgers will do a fine job there

they are a bunch of cads bud…

they are able to turn it on when they need to, they didn’t play for Puel, I’m convinced of it. They are a much, much better side than their league position

B Rod may well have a role to play in Liverpool’s title chase this season.

iirc Souness left the Huns to go to Liverpool in early 1991 and rangers despite a huge scare still won the league after a resurgent Aberdeen brought it down to last day at ibrox .

Don’t fret bhoys .

I’m very upset.

Rodgers career choices have been shrewd so far. His sabbatical in Scotland has given him time to get his mojo back. Taking over an under-performing Leicester side that have the makings of a damn good team. It’ll be interesting to see how long before he’s found out again.

Not great for Scotch football this.

+1.

But at least he’s going to an EPL team with a recent history of winning the title.

It’d be terrible for Scotch football’s credibility if he left Celtic to join Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Newcastle, Spurs or someone like that.

Mario Balotelli, Alberto Moreno and Lazar Markovic will be on high alert.

Good point.

Liverpool was always a stepping stone for him.

Marko Grujic will make the bullets for Daniel Sturridge and Iago Aspas at the Power King stadium next season.

Degsy and @Flano will provide excellent defensive stability.

True, Leicester should give Rodgers the platform to try and deliver his first competitive trophy since winning the Championship play off final with Swansea in 2011.
