Two lads and an axe got away with possible €1bn in stolen jewels from Dresden. I was in Dresden and saw said jewels but to be honest I wouldn’t have paid that much for them.
Now that I think of it said museum was a very low tech affair, can’t believe the lads were able to smash a case with an axe and get a billion worth of jewels.
They’ll be worth a lot less after they break them up and sell them for parts presumably.
There’s been a series of big jewel heists around France the last few years. I’d imagine those lads are the prime suspects.
