The Great Segunda 17/18

You have at least five. Weird weird behaviour. Is it so you can keep spamming the forum when you pretend to go off in a huff for a few weeks?

No. I use the other 4 to wind me up so I’ll storm off for a few weeks.

as posted above, head to head. You lost to me and Mullach. I beat Mullach and had more points than him, so I’m not getting where you see that I would finish below either you or him?

I forsee you losing the coin toss which im graciously willing to accede to

What about @Mullach_Ide, or should he be left wallow in Tipps self pity after this weekend?

Three way coin toss. Initial one to give someone a bye.

I’m happy enough with the league table posted, typical galway lad, looking for the rules to be changed to suit themselves. @maroonandwhite must go to the turds.

Typical wexford and tipp, not able to beat us on the scoreboard so using technicalities

Cheerio chum.

You may not, jog on you filthy casual…

i dont see it, point it out sport, much appreciated.

I’m pretty sure it’s there, throw up the constitution there sure

the settings, which have been there from the start, are the constitution … the same settings that placed you in second bottom due to head to head results

When more than two people are tied it goes to points scored. Someone must have tampered with the settings. You’ve been stitched up here.

Yeah that’s what I thought alright pal. Skullduggery.

is that right?

send me on the link.

here ya go pal, i dont recall there being a discussion about the way in which the relegated would be decided in terms of a tie

@maroonandwhite has been badly wronged here.

Oh, so its not in the constitution at all. So common sense would dictate, as in all other sporting competitions on a league basis, that score difference counts.

Three or More Clubs
(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.)

Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants.
Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.)
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.
Strength of victory.
Strength of schedule.
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best net points in conference games.
Best net points in all games.
Best net touchdowns in all games.
Coin toss
When the first Wild-Card team has been identified, the procedure is repeated to name the second Wild-Card, i.e., eliminate all but the highest-ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. In situations where three or more teams from the same division are involved in the procedure, the original seeding of the teams remains the same for subsequent applications of the tie breaker if the top-ranked team in that division qualifies for a Wild-Card berth.
