After numerous requests to post the standings-
@Blake is standing top of the pile and unbeaten at 8-0 and is guaranteed play-off action, the only question remains now is if Mac can catch him to win the league and automatic promotion.
@Mac is second. After an iffy start he has gathered serious momentum and sits at 6-2. He needs a few favours to reel Blake in but at the rate he is blowing his opposition away he remains firmly in the race for automatic promotion.
Mark Renton sits third. It has been a stop start campaign thus far for Mark, following up a win with a loss, but he has put back to back victories together and over come serious turmoil after losing half his team to injuries over the last few weeks. He will lose more, but remains a favourite for a play off spot.
@fistoffury @Jimmy Mc Nulty @Sandymount Red @Elvis Brandenberg Kremmen all sit on 4-4. All will agree the season has not panned out as they planned, especially for the likes of Elvis who was trash talking an almighty game in pre season but has not been able to transfer it to regular season results. Fist beat Jimmy in a very important game this weekend which ensured he stayed in the hunt for playoff action. All in all, these cunts have been way too quiet around here and sit middle of the raod for a reason.
@count of monte cristo sits 8th on 3-5. Yet this doesn’t quite do him justice. Talks a lot of trash but he competes in every game and it’s a fixture that you know you will have to work to earn the W. Little count has played the 3 top dogs in recent weeks and with a favourable run of fixtures down the home straight he will be confident of putting together a rally to get into a play off position. Will need to unearth a player or two tho.
@Watchyourtoes is 9th also on 3-5. But this also doesn’t tell the whole story… The stupid fucker started with injured players and all sorts for the first few weeks and basically handed walkovers to all of his divisonal rivals (Blake, fist, Maroon) However, after I issued him with a gentle warning to get his shit together or i’d bust his head, he has been a revelation and is competing fiercely in every encounter. Has put himself in with a chance of still making the play-offs but will need to put together a run of results to do so, but with a very tough match up against Mark Renton this week it may be beyond him.
@Crutches sits 10th, again on 3-5. What can we say, after a decent start he has just fallen away and lost 3 on the bounce. What has most people baffled is the lack of fight coming from this fabled franchise, and many peoples tip for a playoff berth this season. It’s still not beyond him, but it has been weeks since we even heard a mere ‘cunt’ emanate from his corner…Does he really want this??
@maroonandwhite - The biggest disappointment of all at 2-6. It is this writers opinion that management has let their hate for the auto picking scum Count affect their performance. This franchise has let hatred eat them up inside and have forgotten the joy of football. If they can remember what football is all about and why we all fell in love with the gamein the first place their season can still be saved, but its a long road and one not many beleive they are capable of.
@Soisear B. You suck.
On the overall breakdown of win loss I’m second you UUCOAM :mad: how come you didn’t mention that or how that I’m the third highest scoring franchise :mad:
I’ve been unlucky but it will even out yet
