@Mark Renton is right, it makes no odds in the long run really. In fact I always hope that I don’t pick in the first few picks, having 20 odd turns between picks is a pain and always leaves you somewhat exposed either at RB2 or WR1

Exactly, mid range is slightly preferable as you have consistant picks but really it don’t matter a fuck, it’s all about how you marshall your troops and play the game!
You will have 30 seconds to make a pick each time, I advise you all to rank players before the draft according to your wants and estimations…this both highlights what players are left in order of how you ranked them as opposed to the default rankings, but also, where your connection might freeze or you run out of time for some reson a player will be picked for your roster again according to your ranking not the default NFL.com rankings.
Be careful with your pre-draft rankings. Last year, you could set the autopick to either pick the best player available based on your rankings or the best player in a position you need. If done haphazardly, his could fuck you over big time, as you could end up stacked at one position and thin elsewhere or you could end up autodrafting a kicker or DST really early, so its important to get you settings aligned with your rankings. I assume its the same this year, I haven’t even touched rankings or autodraft in both my drafts so far, so I’m not 100% on it.

A word of warning to newbies… pay no heed to projected scores. Particularly the weekly ones, they mean fuck all.
