Heart warming story incoming. Burning a bit of Christmas cardboard today and a few of the neighbours usually parttake also. There are new neighbours in the area, South Dublin types as it’s a holiday home. The X5 pulls up today anyway as the bonfire is kicking off and I braced myself for an argument about burning rubbish but I was wrong; I smiled as I see Lucy opening the boot and bringing her batch of cardboard with her and lovely bottle of wine to accompany it.
A pleasant conversation ensued as the flames rose higher.
