Any thoughts on this @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy? I defer to your greater knowledge on the subject. You mightn’t have seen this with the way your algorithim is laid out I’d imagine.
stopped reading at his claim that renewable resourses require more “energy” than they produce and cites windmills as an example. This is wrong.
As said I bow to your knowledge on the subject. Seems to have got a lot of traction though rightly or wrongly or in betweenly.
yes, if only more TFK posters were as deferential to my knowledge of renewables & mining
Why are people so against wind solar or other renewable energy as of oil and coal are the right way and only way? They’ll talk about how “dirty” green energy is but entirely ignore how horribly dirty fossil fuel energy is, nevermind the economic and war issues over it. Same with batteries for evs. They’ll talk about cobalt mining, but ignore the fact that laptops and mobile phones have been the majority of supply for these and not a peep out of them for years when near 100% of the issues there. But when there is a replacement for diesel and petrol there is all the concern over how cobalt is mined (which absolutely is an issue, but not a new one)
