news has reached me that the money mad headcases in the greyhound industry are in cahoots with chinese officials about exporting greyhounds into china
all other european countries said they when china sgot theor animal rights records up to speed they would but the bord na gconmen only care about the greenbacks it seems
good to see high profile stars such as brendan glesson stand up to these bord na gconmen
Madam, â While we are relieved that Bord na gCon was denied permission to export Irish greyhounds to China, we remain alarmed that they are nevertheless going to attempt to develop and manage racetracks there. This is not just a cynical move, but a sinister one. They will have to get greyhounds from somewhere for this cruel sport.
Unlike other breeds, greyhounds tend to be portrayed as commodities. But they are not machines. They are creatures who feel. Yet their lives are so undervalued, they are regularly subjected to neglect and abuse all over the world. In China, there is a massive amount of well-documented evidence of dogs and cats being thrown alive into boiling water, and then skinned, alive, to eventually end up for sale in open markets.
The Department of Agriculture may sign off on this new proposal. Now they need to take responsibility for deciding whether or not Irelandâs reputation is worth more than the money that may be generated by this ominous project.
Lately we have seen how Irish society has been shot to pieces by State and semi-State bodies abdicating themselves from responsibility and by overbearing greed and arrogance running rough-shod over sense and compassion. We have seen that those who try to speak out against the establishment, for whatever reason, are often ridiculed as fools or worse. And we have seen how Ireland has fallen in terms of our pride and reputation.
Irish people are compassionate. Very recently, we spoke out loud and clear on the issue of cruelty to Irish greyhounds. This outcry shouldnât be seen by those making this important decision as ending with the welfare of Irish dogs. This extends to all greyhounds, no matter where they come from. At this point in our countryâs affairs, let us dispense with greed in favour of humanity. â Yours, etc,
Brendan Gleeson; Christy Moore; Paul Brady; Louis Walsh; Damien Rice; Imelda May;
Darrel Higham; Damien Dempsey; Andrea Corr; Paddy Moloney; Louis Copeland; Eleanor Shanley;
Ian Dempsey; Linda Martin; Declan OâRourke; Luka Bloom; Luan Parle; Donal Lunny; Mundy; Frances Black;
Lucia Evans; Barry Murphy; John Reynolds; Mary Black; Liam Ă MaonlaĂ; Lenny Abrahamson; Mark Rowlands;
Glenda Gilson; Jerry Fish; Ciara Sidine; Gavin Friday; Tommy Tiernan; Jack Lukeman; Pat Shortt;
Jon Kenny; Sharon Shannon; Geraldine Murphy.
With these utter cunts caring so much, itâs surprising theyâre never out on the picket at Shelbourne Park Thursdays and SaturdaysâŚwhat a shower of absolute fuck tards. To see that prick Jon Kenny in their number is sickening. I will abuse the fuck out of that cunt, next time I see him. The same kunt raced horses in steeplechases for years. A prick of the highest order.

The Irish Greyhound is treated better than any animal in the world. Fact. They are given the best of feeding, care and shelter imaginable. Fact. There are more horses killed or put to sleep than there are greyhounds in this country. Fact. But of course there is nothing made of that. Do greyhounds have worse lives than say pigs, cattle or sheep? All reared with the outcome that they will one day be savagely slaughtered and end up on the plates of the Brendan Gleeson, Christy Moore, Paul Brady, Louis Walsh, Damien Rice, Imelda May, Darrel Higham, Damien Dempsey, Andrea Corr, Paddy Moloney, Louis Copeland, Eleanor Shanley,
Ian Dempsey, Linda Martin, Declan OâRourke, Luka Bloom, Luan Parle, Donal Lunny, Mundy, Frances Black, Lucia Evans, Barry Murphy, John Reynolds, Mary Black, Liam Ă MaonlaĂ, Lenny Abrahamson, Mark Rowlands, Glenda Gilson, Jerry Fish, Ciara Sidine, Gavin Friday, Tommy Tiernan, Jack Lukeman, Pat Shortt, Jon Kenny, Sharon Shannon, and the Geraldine Murphys of this world. Are we to believe that Ian Dempsey has never ate a chicken burger, Pat Shortt has never ate a lamb chop or Tommy Tiernan has never attended a horse racing meeting with his mate Hector? To each of these retards, i say fuck off and die.
These creeps are the lowest of the low, we must all bow to our betters in the entertainment industry. As I say, Jon Kenny raced horses for years, he has some nerve to call greyhound racing cruel. Dog chase a mechanical bunny around a track ffs. A better collection of cunts you could hardly imagine. Glenda Gilson ffs.
Credit to Brendan Gleeson and his esteemed colleagues in their courage in taking on the powerful grehound industry. There is untold panic in the murky corridoors of Bord na gCon, the Greyhound lobby and their apologists never saw Glenda Gilson coming
God be with the days when Irish grehounds were a source of pride to the Nation. Brendan Gleeson rocked the President of the USA today, just imagine what he will do to the gConmen and their apologists
Myles, McGrath both canine legends of different eras.
These fuckwits who signed the letter should be fucked right off if anyone comes across them in the future, Iâd swear Gilson draped her half naked body and equine face over Tyrur Ted to launch the derby a few years back.
On the chinese thing though, I personally would be against it, I think it would be just an outlet that fellas who breed shit bitches would clog up with their bags fodder now that the UK market has dried up.
The only way to get a few bob for them these days is to rear em on to 18/19 months, school them, and get them pretty fit, then get a decent trial on their cards and sell em unraced. Fellas will pay a premium for a young dog that may be open to improvement. Thereâs no value in selling young pups now, even from a bitch that has thrown comp winners previously.
And to think, i used to revere these fellas, bought their dvds, went to their shows. I urge all doggy fellas to boycott these men in future and not make them any more moneyâŚ
