That’s it really. Rory has won twice as many majors as Greg Norman and the same number of US PGA events already. Only Eldrick Woods has spent longer as world Number 1 than Greg Norman.
It’s lost on most fellows here how highly Rory ranks in the pantheon of the greats of golf. I doubt anyone from Ireland has ever achieved as much on the global stage in their chosen sport as Rory.

Greg Norman was a renowned bottler. Why is he being used as a comparator for anything?
Rory emulated the 20 US PGA wins of Greg Norman and Hale Irwin last night.
Is that true or did he just bottle a couple of high profile majors. Don’t know much about him
More than a few. He lost all four majors from winning positions on a Sunday at one point and has lost at least four play offs in majors id say too.

I believe that 51 year old Phil Mickelson is the only active player on the men’s tour to have won more Majors than Rory.

Ah Jaysus the Masters he lost to Nick Faldo was pitiful to watch. Six shots ahead starting the final round he lost by five. He was like Michelle Smith he was in and out of the water that much.
