The Irish abroad 2013/2014

Kieran Westwood starts for Sunderland and Richard Dunne starts for QPR, two big boosts ahead of the September qualifiers.

Jon Walters has just missed a penalty for Stoke

Walters needs to stop taking penalties. Wilson and Whelan had a tough job in midfield where Liverpool dominated. Wilson showed some good touches but doesn’t go looking for the ball at all

many irish people are living abroad and will remain so i believe well into 2014 as Puke has pointed out in the thread title,
i myself have been abroad now for some time but like getting home at Christmas to meet friends and family.
The thread title is very broad but maybe it would be good for fellow posters to log any good anectdotes about the time they have spent abroad " living the dream" so to speak

Clark did well for Villa when called upon today, was brought in to replace the injured Baker after 15mins.

Hat trick for Robbie last night:

Former Cork Minor Football star Damien Delany doing ok today for Palace. Garvan also playing.

Great to see Delany playing at this level. He has been a very good pro for a long time.

Call embassy/consulate, they will send you out application/renewal packet. Fill out, get notarised, pictures etc, and send back to them and they send it on to Dublin. There was a backlog of up to 6 months a few years ago.

Left mine late last time, but called them up and told them I had to go home in hurry and sent proof of tickets purchased, and fair play to them they turned it around in a week, though it did cost an extra fee (think it was the bones of 100 yoyos extra).

How hard is it to get an Isreali passport?

4 Irish being held captive in a mosque in Cairo. More news as we get it.

Awful news.

Like, how the fuck could they not know these people were Irish.

Good to see Coleman cutting the mustard in Norwich yesterday.

Two goals for Robbie overnight

Owen Garvan has had a massive falling out with Ian Holloway. He was left out of the Crystal Palace 25-man EPL squad by Holloway in the wake of their summer spending and took to twitter to voice his displeasure.

mickee, do it as quickly as possible, it can take anything up to 6 months. Had to renew mine from Australia a couple of years ago. There’s some very specific requirements and they can’t give you a specific time when you’ll get it back.

lads,

Ive paid the NPPR charge recently

just to let you know if you miss the date there is an additional monthly charge
