Pat is obviously a remarkable individual, but joe was really just trying to comfort him. I’d say all pat’s achievements are just an attempt to put 93 behind him.
Some would have Considered him a soft touch on the field in his prime.

Maybe Pat would be a decent choice of president, obviously a very capable and modest fella…Joe’s north south derry upbringing gives him a natural advantage though

There’s a sectarianism on both sides in Northern Ireland. A politics that is still built on tribalism and triumphalism. It’s a pity as it has a huge opportunity now being within the UK and the common market.
