Harte is massively outstaying his welcome. Obviously he was a good coach/manager 10 years ago but he needs to take a good look at himself now and step aside because Iā€™d say he needs to be the one to cut the cord.

I was told this 4 years ago by a former squad member.
Its out of pure loyalty of a few older lads and a kinda ā€œits we go out on the pitchā€ approach that hasnā€™t really rocked that boat i would suggest. He got rid of Donnelly to feshen it up but they are not evolving. Nor can they really iā€™d say. They have significant limitations.

5 or 6 years is about the limit of what any coach should stay with a group. Less for vast majority of coaches.

Fair point probably. Harte may have local journos sufficiently cowed to not make them an option, which I guess would be the usual route for this type of thing?

Correct me if Iā€™m wrong but wasnā€™t there a bit of a protest there up in Tyrone the last time his appointment came up for ratification and the county board refused. I may stand corrected but I have a vague memory of it.
