Offaly will add significantly more to the Leinster championship than Laois would have.

Next year has the six counties you want in the Leinster championship.

Offaly are not ready for the physicality of senior hurling, they will be lucky to beat Antrim next year and stay up.

They’d have actually been better served winning this well next year and going up in 2026 when Screeney/Bourke/Brecon kavanagh are all ready.

I’d agree with that.
