Argentina has had mainly left wing or left leaning governments for the past 40 years, from the Kirchners to Massa During that period poverty has gone from 4% to 40%. It’s hardly surprising establised parties are being rejected.
The interesting thing is that unlike other populaist movements like Brext and Trump. which were driven by more elderly voters, the deciding democraphic in Argentina were young voters.
