Took a heavy enough knock to the shin on Saturday, about an inch-inch and a half below the knee. There is still a nice bit of bruising but it is fairly numb to the touch and there is a pretty big indentation as well especially compared to my other leg which is solid bone if I touch the same area.

I played a match on it last night with little ill effects aside from the fact that it stung like a motherfucker in hard physical contact.

Anyone ever have anything similar

I had a numb patch on my shin for 2 or 3 years after getting a kick on it. I assume it was damaged nerves that eventually came back over time.

possibly chipped the bone, i did this a few years ago, very sore dose.

I have no pain or discomfort walking or running on it. Only when I get a bang on it is when it hurts like fuck

if it is a chipped bone you will generally only feel pain to touch apparently, it will likely heal over a few weeks.

It is still very much a numb/dull sensation when I touch it

Think I may have fractured a thumb this evening. Fairly swollen now and little movement in it

Flick the top of it, if you can feel vibrations chances are its fractured. How did this happen? Could just be badly sprained

Inside of the thumb is purple this morning, flicked it and felt a bit of vibration. Hoping it is only a sprain but normally when you sprain a finger it doesn’t really throb like this. Will go down the road for an x ray this evening I think

Can you bend it?

Can wiggle it and bend it slightly, but to even try and extend/straighten it i get a fairly sharp pain
