a mutual friends comment on facebook with that alerted me to it! Class tho! Tebow has nothing on O Connor!!!
He could probably throw the ball as well with his hands in the state that they’re in.
I remember Griffin comparing the story of Elway’s first Superbowl win to George O’Connor’s first All Ireland and he said that O’Connor was the far greater story in sport given that he had done it all while maintaining his own livelihood.
Yeah of course it is
nah-its a greater story because o’connnor is a dribbling retard & forhim to function is society is a miracle
griffin is an incontinent cuntface
george o’connor…hero
liam griffin…hero
teeeeeeeebow…i hope he rams it down the pats throats…
Glad you agree.
Christ the Jets are a truly despicable organisation full of arseholes.
The players anonymously went to the NY Daily News to tell them how bad Sanchez is and that they want Manning. Why they felt the need to do it at all, ripping on a team mate, and not even have the spine to say it to his face, or at least put their name to the comments. Coming off the back of Holmes being turfed out by the players in the Miami game without their head coach going, they really are a horrible lot.

As if the Jets could be even more dislikeable, we have this: Multiple players ripping starting quarterback Mark Sanchez in the most gutless way possible. No, not on Twitter. See, using Twitter would have required attaching their name to it.
The Jets? They ripped Sanchez anonymously through the New York Daily News.
And this is not me defending Sanchez. It’s not. He could well be “lazy,” as one gutless wonder told the newspaper. He could be a “baby,” as another gutless Jet said. It’s entirely possible that “he goes in a hole when someone tells him the truth,” as someone sniveled.
But there’s a right way to do things, and a wrong way, and damn if the Jets don’t take the wrong way every … single … time.
The only person in the organization with any gumption is the backup quarterback, Greg McElroy, who attached his name to some fierce criticism last week. Everyone else? Gutless. No wonder the team choked all season.

Post reported.

bring it on! :guns:
they fired Schottenheimer too and hired Sporano, the Miami head coach who was fired during the year. Not sure its a great move.
I think they were always going to get rid of Schottenheimer. He seemed to be the biggest fan of Sanchez so that might be telling too.
true, but the offensive co ordinator is always going to be close to the QB as it will always be the person they work with most, so they would need to be on good terms. wouldnt suprise me if they do make a play for Manning though. The Manning brothers both in NY?
You will never see Peyton Manning in a Jets uniform, never. He’s got way too much class for that.
Peyton’s got three or four more years left in him (if he comes back at all) and there’s no way he’d want to waste those precious years on a disfunctional organization like the Jets.
Rocko - have you opened negotiations with any franchises for your support next season? I seem to recall you only extended your support for the Jets by one season.
Brian - I received some Jets paraphenalia for Christmas and in unrelated news have renewed my affinity with the Jets for a further 12 months. I will also be in talks with the organisation after summer trading and may extend as far as 2012 if I feel they match my ambition at that stage.
Brilliant, I look forward to the sounds from the Broncos win over the Pats around this time next week.
Ah lovely, shall watch that at the weekend. Hope it’s as good as the last one.
the title is a bit misleading, there is feck all of Tebow in it, its more Dumerville and Ben really.
For the day that is in it, and the inevitable forum support for Tim Tebow later on, some of you might enjoy the hour long show ESPN did on Tebow between finishing his college career and setting himself to be drafted in the NFL. Really good insight to him, the hype around him, and the work and efforts he went to in training to get as far as he is possible able to. Extremley hard to dislike the guy, has a serious amount of mental and physical strength to try be the best he can. And as Bandage said last week, he is a very likeable chap.
