The long and bumpy road to Super Bowl XLVII

This should help Locke.
Find games with the biggest disparity.

Handicap accumulators are a no-go for me. Even on the rare occasions I got all the match results right, there tended to be at least one prick of a team who needed a late drive to win narrowly and failed to beat the handicap.

Handicaps are better in College as teams like running up the score to improve their BCS ranking.

Thanks cluaindiuic, hears hoping Iā€™ll get enough to pay back the 80 lids for the ticket on Sunday

One more Locke. http://sportsillustrā€¦tml?eref=sircrc

I really fancy Carolina and Buffalo to win this weekend and they are outsiders. So does Peter King.
Might be worth taking them with the handicap.

80 quid still good value.
Also, tomorrow is yearly bonus day. I could probably afford 3 rows to myself. :pint:

Apologies, Carolina favourites [4/5] but I think they should be bigger favourites.

Iā€™m gonna try this accumulator

Houston Texans -11.5 (11/10)
Carolina Panthers -1.0 (4/5)
Pittsburgh Steelers (11/10)
Jacksonville Jaguars (33/20)
Buffalo Bills (5/4)

Any thoughts anyone?

Not wild about Jacksonville or Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh are short Ryan Clark again in Denver due to sickle cell disease.
Iā€™d take Manning at home there gun to head but Iā€™ve avoided both those games.

Like the other 3 and have them in a ricockulous accumulator.

Both are risky alright. The Jaguars have their offensive problems but the Vikings are shit, especially without Peterson. I think the Jaguars might snatch it in a low scoring borefest.

Iā€™m not convinced that Manning will immediately turn it around for the Broncos. But for some miraculous plays from Tebow last year they were fairly crap. The steelers on the other hand are the steelers

Finished Hard Knocks there. Joe Philbin is one uninspiring bastard. A very bland individual seemingly lacking any charisma.

The more I see of them the happier I am that I got them 14/1 to be the worst team this year.

What an awesome night of football. The Boyos getting the job done. Easy enough win in the end. Where did this Ogletree fella come from! Saw on ESPN earlier that he was a starter on .4% of Fantasy Teams.

Patriots are -5 on the handicap v the TItans. Think they will cover that easily. Not convinced about the jags at all. You say Vikings are shit without Peterson, but Jags are absolutely nothing without Mo Jo and I dont think he could be ready to play on Sunday. Like CLD, not mad on the Steelers to win at Denver, home game, Peytons first one back, Denver have a good defence. No one knows what Manning will be like, kinda depends on that really.

I also think Peterson will play this week.

I suppose Iā€™m banking Manning having a slow start and this

not happening.

I also expect Blaine Gabbert to have improved, somewhat

Peterson should see game time. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/20080875/vikings-rb-peterson-declares-himself-ready-to-play
Gabbart might improve, but who will he throw it to? Jared Allen will crucify him early too.

Blackmon is his only targetā€¦

Vikes have a similar problem, who will they throw it tooā€¦

Would like to see more out of Ponder with increased protection with the addition of Matt Kalilā€¦

Harvin

Forgot all about harvinā€¦ Be a poor game all in allā€¦

Is Andre Johnson fully fit this year lads? He will be the difference between Houston having a good or a great season imo.
