A 6 TD night for Aaron Rodgers against the much vaunted Texans defense.

Weā€™re back!

Wrong threadā€¦reaches for coffee.

Jeez some performance from Rodgers, and some score in the fantasy from him. I needed Schaub to do average in another league to get the win, and the cunt got me minus points. May watch that game later on. Missed pretty much all other games last night bar the Patriots one. 2 huge redzone oppertunities were lost which ultimately cost the game, the first one just at half time when Brady was flagged for intentional grounding and the 10 second run off brough it to half time, and the interception late on in the red zone which would have pretty much sealed the game with any sort of a score. The secondary defence is fucking useless though. McCourty is shit, and any deep ball thrown at him he looks like a retard with his back to the ball and his arms flailing all over the shop. Its either a catch or PI every time. Wilson must have broke his season longest completion 4 or 5 times over in that game. Anyways, the scumbag Jets next Sunday. A win will keep the divisional race to our advantage, but they will not go far this year with that shit defence, and with an offence that plays sporadically.

dominance from the giantsā€¦ what the hell happened the much vaunted 49rs defence??

It was more down to Alex Smith getting sacked a few times and picked off three times. Their offence and blockers were atrocious.
49ers brutal all round last night.

this really is some open season. There is no real stand out team at the moment. Pre season favorites Green Bay and New England have been sketchy to say the least, Houston took a bad beating last night. Giants doing their usual stuttering, beat a good team then lose to a shit one. Ravens are average enough and not beating decent teams confidently, were handed a couple ofwins in games. San Fran havent kicked on at all from a good position from last year. Chicago dont have a good enough QB. Atlanta are probably the only side with any true form, but who have they played that is noteworthy? It could well be that a team comes from no where to win, the likes of Minnesota, Arizona etc who are going well but still capable of being useless.

If the Ravens have lost Webb and Lewis for the year they can forget about it.
Atlanta are the Galway of the NFL. Loads of talent and promise, canā€™t do it when it matters.
Houston killed themselves last night with penalties. Cushing is a big loss for them too.
If Seattle got home field advantage in the playoffs they would be interesting.
Longstanding playoff teams like Pittsburgh and New Orleans look like they are out of the playoff picture already.

Call it:
San Fran v Houston Super Bowl

I honestly think if Vick stops acting the maggot the Eagles could be the team to beat.

Its so wide open at the moment though I wouldnā€™t know who to call it for. When all is said and done however the Giants result last night is probably the most impressive of the season so far.

Was going to mention the Ravens injuries there too. I expect the Pack to kick on now.

Here, any news on Brandon Lloyd? Did he actually escape injury on that diving catch attempt at the end last night? He looked in bits at the time.

did he not come back in the game for the last series after that? nearly sure he did. looked a bad bang alright, but probably wont hear a thing until Sunday evening as to how bad it may be.

Lloyd came out for the last two plays of the game and his injury is not thought to be serious.

I wouldnā€™t write off the pats. They were extremely impressive in the first half last night against Seattleā€™s number 1 ranked defence. That intentional grounding call was a killer at the end of the half. Their big problem is their secondary which will ship huge points to the better NFL offences. Chandler jones looks like heā€™ll be a beast.

Was wondering if the bookies would over-react and push the pats out but they are top priced 6/1

What maggotry has he been performing this year?

Pats were good at times, but Brady made more pass attempts than he ever tried before, and still had very average passing stats. not like him. I suppose the other way at looking at the losses is that they were by 1 point, 1 point and 2 points. Not as if they were being hammered.

Wilson looked good too by the way. there was one completion he made where he was on the run, and kinda side arm threw it where it faded out to the corner, was an excellent play. he has a decent arm on him too. good heads up from you on the start of the season.

Someone might mention to the Broncoā€™s that the game started

Dire so far, special teams muck and McGahee at nothing.
