anyone have any logical reason why the niners refused to take the safety with 40 odd seconds on the clock that would have put them 9 points up? seemed a really odd move. maybe Harbaugh preferred to just kneel the ball instead of letting Seattle take the free kick. Just seems odd as 9 points absolutely guarantees the win. shit game too, just constant run plays and 3 and outs. usually the condensed gamepass takes over half an hour. because the ball was ran so much it wasnt much longer than 25 minutes to watch the whole game.

The only reason I can think is that he thought we’d try an onside kick. But as someone who backed the Hawks +7.5 I wasn’t moaning :lol:

yeah but even if ye got the onside kick, which I cant ever remember seeing a succesful free kick onside kick, you would still have needed 2 scores in about 30 seconds of play starting on your own 30. just odd turning down points to seal a game. vegas must be going mental over it, with the spread at 7.5!
