Was the duvel as nice as I remember it? Where did you purchase?

I always found Duvel a bit rough around the edges compared to other Belgian beers.

You should try la chouffe, not as bitter as duvel…and it doesn’t froth like mad when you pour it. I love duvel though
I have had La Chouffe a number of times. A nice beer indeed.

I’m sure I have had their stuff in the past, don’t think I liked them.
I think I had the Extra before, was grand, nothing special. Something different from all the craft Pale Ales at least.
I picked up a can of this in the offie tonight. I wasn’t expecting much and wasn’t disappointed. It’s like someone poured a drop of Rock Shandy into a beer thus ruining both.
