He must have been served by a young lad and not one of the old hands.
I’ve obviously made a mistake with the kirin, thought I’d had it before and liked it but obviously mixed it up with another Asian beer, has that sickly taste I normally associate with weissbeers. My missus liked it though
Tsingtao is grand if you can get your hands on it.
Beer Laos, Hite, Saigon are probably the better Asian beers but hard to get
Kirin do a nice black beer, but I’ve never seen it in Ireland.
Jesus, the beerlao brings back some memories, it was (maybe still is) the only beer you could get in Laos and it’s strength varied almost from bottle to bottle, tubing in Vang Vieng great times.
Asahi is a lovely Japanese beer, my pal in treaty city is working on a rice beer at the moment
I had pints in JJ Bowles and the Glen last week and both seemed to have the same wet glass issue. The pint in the Glen was a bit nicer than JJs.
He should release it in spring and call it Edmund Spring Rice
Thomas Spring Rice
Edmund Ignatius Rice
Great times. Tubing and stopping for a few bottles along the way. I lost a fella from Clonakilty on the river and he showed up 36 hours later. Stayed with some family overnight and got fed watered and nearly married off.
It’s 14 for a woman.
Drinking Limerick ale and watching Joe Quaid Laochra Gaol
Got a 12 month subscription to an Irish brewery as a birthday present.
First month has arrived.
Half dozen different beers, 2 cans of each. Might get a start into them tonight
288 cans of beer is a decent birthday present
144 (12 cans*12 months) but still decent.
Are you supposed to be a teacher?
I haven’t had it. Have had a few of their drinks but haven’t seen that up here
