Pat never starved cause the faeries were in Brussels sitting beside Ray McSharry when the common agricultural policy was being negotiated in 1992.

You couldn’t see them but they were there in green jumpers and red trousers and were approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall and they giggled throughout.

Ah look. There is no need to take that tone. I’m happy to advise fellas on it. All around you all there are inheritances up for grabs…

The timing of the intervention is critical however, jump too soon and you could be wiping holes and putting in eye drops for a decade. Leave it too late and the chances of tilting things in your direction are significantly reduced.

Keep your ears open for upcoming medical procedures… Offer to feed the cats, dogs etc during the absence. You’ll build up trust this way. There will always be a bit of rehab after and family’s aren’t always conveniently close. Before you know it you’ll be collecting the pension and doing the odd visit to the bank. Then spin the odd poor mouth story about trying to raise a few kids and the struggles around it… At worst you’ll get a site for a housheen.

I’d usually step away at at this point before things get ugly but for those who have their heads about them it could be worth sticking with things. I’d say @TheBird would be the man to advice from here on. I’d say he’s an expert on spotting the early tell tell signs of early dementia/alziemers.

Was stopped at a checkpoint earlier on the way to the park for a walk. It’s such nonsense. Everything is closed and you can’t even head out for a walk without being stopped and asked where you’re travelling to.

If I might just add to this excellent “Beginners Guide to Inheritences” the offer to bring a couple of crátures to Mass of a Saturday evening can be a gamechanger. They naturally assume you’re bringing your own tribe on the Sunday and are agreeable to this.
