The thing about the final of COTY is that they are all uber cunts. Like interviewing for a top job these candidates have been through a rigorous screening system with those who made the final all worthy of their place. They are all cunts, just a matter of getting them over the line.

I encounter work situations that I’ve never encountered before. It’s easy to panic.
The whole thing is odd and unedifying, but I can’t help but think her behaviour was partly conditioned by her environment. It’s easy to judge from outside.
Look, it’s a stupid analogy, but I used to slag off lads on the Galway hurling team when I was younger, (mainly macintyre era), til a wiser man said to me, “look, they are all trying their best”
I thought about that a lot, and still do. I’ll still have an odd tant about a manager, but not the players.
I’d never have accepted that assignment, but then I’d never have sent anyone to do it either.

She had the guts of a 3 hour drive to Donegal or Derry to interview the woman. Panic doesn’t last that long. I think you’re being a bit naive and your ‘always seeing the good in people’ nature is blinding you from what actually happened here.
