@glenshane what’s the story with the whole “Yeeoooo” thing the Loyalists do when they are on the boozy street piss ups. I saw a video of a celebration on the Shankill following the Ulster Workers Council “strike” in 1974 and the same roar could be heard clearly, so it’s not today or yearerday this originated
Well it was a kind of yobbish thing to be shouting…but in recent years its become sort of ironic, celebratory and cool, a bit like belfast itself.
