Good move in my opinion, at least the British Government is doing someone proactive to kick start their economy unlike Brian Cowen. He said yesterday there isnt ‘enough flexibility in the Irish economy to do the same as Britain’. I wouldnt really be bothered going up north to shop for christmas, too much hassle, spend a fortune on petrol aswell. There seems to be a fair few sales on around the place so the republic will do just fine for me thank you.

Internet shopping is yer only man! have got a load of stuff on ebay and other sites over the last few weeks, and spent maybe €400-500. If I was to buy the stuff in shops, the estimate would be around €2,500-€3,000. looking around for stuff and finding deals fom anywhere can save a fortune. and with the euro being far more than all other currencies, it is even better again.

whole load of stuff. got a set of golf clubs for the sisters fella on her behalf, about a quarter the cost of the best I could find here. bought 100 golf balls too for €20, they are going for about €0.50ea in shops. Got a sat nav thing for the missus too, saved about €200 on that, but only delivers in England so had to sort that out, but not a big deal. bought other shit too that is expensive in shops, but in bulk on internet you can get it for feck all.

Ebay is my best friend over christmas aswell. Bought golf clubs a few weeks ago which set me back 800 so getting everything nice n cheap on ebay.
40 Titleist PRO V1 Golf balls are 47 on ebay. 12 of them in a golf shop in Ireland will set you back 55. Madness.
