Basically says he knows the rules and was happy to take the yellow to avoid conceding a goal.
Counihan probably stayed on a year or two more than he should. In saying that he won them an All Ireland and not many managers have that on their CV.
Best of luck to him, always came across as a decent skin. Seemed almost too nice for intercounty management at times. His loyalty to some of his old war horses cost him today.
What are Cavan like? Must confess I know little or nothing about them. Consensus seems to be that Kerry will wallop them tomorrow. Kerry have struggled a bit in quarter finals last few years. Lost to Donegal in 2012 and Down in 2010 and made heavy weather of beating Galway in 2008 and Monaghan in 2007.
