The Official All-Ireland Senior Football Championship 2013 Thread

That’s fuckin pathetic

Not only do we have the shame of emmigrating we now have the GGA showing their disdain for us too

Ray Carey back in the country as well, on the bench for Clyda over the weekend.

+1

Was he traveling? Might get his A game back after the break. His first 2 seasons with Cork were outstanding, lost confidence after being lobbed for Brogans goal in '10. Never same after that.

Shamrock Rovers 7-1 Drogheda United

Fail.

Setanta Cup is not an ALL-Ireland competition, pal.
No teams from Limerick, Clare, Tipp, Offaly, Cavan, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon, Fermanagh take part.

Yes it is, they just failed to qualify.

No mate, there are no teams from Clare, Tipp, Roscommon, Fermanagh, Mayo, Leitrim etc to qualify. It’s not an ALL-Ireland competition.
Not that anyone anywhere on the island of Ireland, outside of a few skinny moustache types, gives a shit about the competition to begin with.

Yes there are, any football team in Ireland can work their way up through the divisions to qualify.

No Bro, that can’t. There is no automatic qualification for junior soccerball teams into the LoI.

FAI Cup, bro.

All Ireland Champions

football isnt based on a county system drawn up by the brits to rule Ireland so its a crazy point by you.

GGA- popular among the rural catholic conservative population only
Football-popular amongst urban & rural, indigenous and immigrant,Catholic,Protestant and all religions

While soccerball is indeed quite popular the island over, the vast majority of the populace, rural/urban, indigenous/immigrant, prod/papist/dissenter/agnostic, couldn’t give a flying fuck about the Setanta Cup or any of the shite clubs from the two shite leagues both north and south of the border that take part in it… END OF.

You lose… thanks for playing.

au contraire, its the highest rated tournament in the land- a few make it overseas but the rest can only dream of being good enough to play at that standard

I win again

So the highest tournament in the land had a whopping 4,022 in attendance.

The National Hurling League final, a competition that generally hurling enthusiasts consider very much secondary, had 22,000 show up.

No one gives a shit about the The Setanta Cup, the LoI, the Irish League the FAI cup and IFA cup because they are shite, pal.

You lose.

You must be a sadist, as you seem to enjoy having your arse handed to you and keep coming back for more.
