The Official Arsenal 2013/14 Thread

Getting a fucking lesson at the Dell so far. Blessed not to be 2-0 down.

I never like Arteta and Flamini together.

Sagna with a lovely ball for Giroud to back heel to the net . 1-1.

Great start to the second half, cmon lads.

Santi :clap::clap:

Giroud was excellent in the build up to the goal, his work rate is top class.

My word. It’s all happening.

2-2:clap:

All the good work fucked away within seconds, Lallana equalizes. 2-2

Very open game.

2-2.

Great cross floated in from the left by Francis Benali and Egil Ostenstad rose highest to head home.

Wonderful game, both teams no so hot at the back but the attacking intent is great to watch.

Flamini off for a two footed challenge despite winning the ball.

Rumours that Ramsey is out for another “6 weeks”. Arsenal fans will be well aware that this means he is gone for the season as you can usually add a month on to what the club says.

The usual last minute panic buying should be exciting on Friday.

Worrying news. With Flamini now missing for 3 games, we look quite exposed in the middle of the park now. Arteta seems to be struggling a little, while Ozil too is not as influential as i would like bar the odd flash of brilliance. If Giroud were to get injured i think we would be proper fucked!

Flamini will be even more of a loss now. It will be a lot harder to pick up wins in the upcoming big games without the energy that he and Ramsey provide. Arteta and Wilshere don’t close down opposition as effectively.

I would be fairly certain that Wenger will be signing a striker in the next few days so at least we will have some back up for Giroud. He has looked tired lately and needs a bit of help.

Özil was very good in the second half tonight. First time I’ve really seen him sprint. Arteta on the other hand was a complete passenger.

Top four finish, a dignified exit to Bayern Munich and a good cup run is as good as it will get.

Can’t see them signing anyone this week either.

Dawn, I’m fed up.

Incredible to think Wenger hasn’t looked for a striker. They have a real chance of winning the league but they need another option upfront.

Not that I am saying anything against Giroud who is an excellent player.

With the run of games they have coming up in Feb and March, they haven’t a prayer.

There is no way Wenger is stupid enough not to buy a striker this week. He tried to get one on the last deadline day, since then he has lost Walcott (who was an option), lost faith in Podolski and has seen Bendtner look completely out of his depth against Coventry.

My guess is that Vucinic will be signed in the last few hours of the window.

Kallstrom out for three months?

That would be quite funny if true.
