wow imagine having that opinion of a professional soccer player… cop on man to fuck
For a nothing footballer to release a book at the age of 22 when he couldn’t even hold down a regular place at his club at having pot-shots at one of the great managers of the game is an indication of a guy with a huge ego. You only have to watch him play to know he has no intelligence.
Has Walcott actually given out about what happened with regard to the coins?
I would find it very difficult to believe that he would gesture the Spurs fans without any provocation. I would imagine all sorts of shit was said to him as he departed on a stretcher.
How dare Walcott react to Spurs fans throwing coins and shouting abuse at him (and there are photos of coins hitting the ground as he lay injured). Pointing out the score, in response, was a sickening action and is a new low for the sport of Association Football. Most normal people would not react to having stuff thrown at them but these millionaire footballers can’t resist making hand gestures.
It would not surprise me if Walcott was not injured but instead has been suspended for 6 months by Arsenal.
From having witnessed plenty of cruciate injuries both in person and on TV - I can say in circa 95% of cases the player instantly knew they had suffered a serious injury and no attempt whatsoever was made to play on. You talked earlier about being able to walk fine on it in the immediate aftermath which as far as I’m concerned is absolute horseshit and I would be very interested to hear the views of others who have suffered this injury on that point. I was on crutches for the guts of two weeks after it happened and my knee had doubled in size in the space of a couple of hours.
Your appraisal about being able to walk fine on it in the immediate aftermath based on your own experience seems to be fantasy as when you see most professional footballers suffer from it they have to be carted off on a stretcher clearly unable to walk never mind continue. I’ve never ever seen any person walk fine straight after doing their cruciate.
You understand very little about what the cruciate ligament does if you think you can’t walk after tearing one. In most cases you can - and run in straight lines. You could live a perfectly normal life without one you just couldn’t play sport where you’d have to make quick twists or turns. The pain at the immediate time of injury varies greatly there’s been loads of cases where people tried to play on after doing it and loads where people are in total agony. It depends usually on whatever other parts of the knee you injure with it.
Can’t see anyone coming in to be honest. I don’t see any realistic options anyway.
Wonderful day out on Saturday. I’m 3-0-0 at the Emirates this season so I’m doing something right. Some slight drama after the game when we got a little too comfortable in the boozer and started doing vodka red bull, left a little late, fell asleep on the train to Gatwick, woke up in Crawley. Made it back to the airport with 20 mins to spare before departure and made the gate after a few 40 yard dashes. My travel companion (not companion in a gay way) wasn’t so fortunate, despite being on the same train as me he somehow ended up going all the way to Brighton.
I was paying for a ticket. Told him to get on train, I’d follow. Train was packed, I took first available seat. Confirmed by text we were both on the train. Turns out the train split somewhere along the way, one going express to Brighton, the other going whatever isn’t express.
