All the people involved have very close ties to recent management or CB.
There are good people involved with certain teams but mostly below Minor.

But the fact you think one win over KK shows JBM did wonders with a team from 4 years ago and is still relevant says it all.
In fact JBM and his buttering of players, while had short term gain, has hirt them long term. He ruined Cronin, Horgan and Nash. He brought in people he knew from the Barrs who were not good coaches (actually had a u16 team yaken off them in one case)and let them have a say at half time in games etc.
It was farcical.

A manager guiding a team to an AI Final and winning a Munster Final the following year has done long term damage to a county that hasnât won an AI Senior in 12 years, U-21 in 19 years and Minor in 16 years

yep apparently that is the case we are told!! the same manager brought in seamus harnedy who had a blinder that season despite some former stars not approving of players from places they never heard of getting selected! the results before he came in were worse and after he left were worse than the period he was in charge where league finals, all Ireland finals were contested and a munster crown was won.

That Cork team over achieved under JBM and we have seen their true worth since.
Cork were shit when he took over, under him they contested an AI Final and 2 League Finals, reached two Munster Finals winning one (their only silverware since 2005)
In the build up to the 2014 semi final you wouldnât countenance a Cork defeat, they were much better hurlers than Tipperary and now JBM is part of the reason why Cork could quite possibly be shit for a number of years to come?

You donât âaskâ to be with a county team. You get asked. I wouldnât take a county job just because it was county, especially in Cork.
I saw them in action for an entire season in 15. It was awful to watch. In 2014 i was unaware of what they were actually doing and what a bluffer Matthews was for instance.
But in 2013 identified there was major issues in the preparation and specifically idetified accel/decel, speed, strength & physicality issues. In the following while i heard about their strength âtrainingâ which was haphazard being kind.
Then i saw what they were doing.
Have you ever gathered more info about a subject over time? Or are you someone who just goes with the first thing he says and goes with it?

Iâm someone who looks at the facts, the core of the players who were competitive under JBM have utterly faded away since his departure.
Yes, the semi-final defeat in 2014 would have had a a demoralising effect on that group because no one saw it coming (outside of Tipperary). They were inches away from an AI the previous year and winning Munster would have been seen as progression.
To say JBM ruined players is wrong imo, the only accusation that could be made of him is that he couldnât make a silk purse out of a sowâs ear, but then again who could.
