Original pirate material, youâre listening to the streets.
A Waterford relative of mine told me he is parking in Middleton train station and getting the train inâŚhourly train. 20 mins. 9 quid return. Decent plan if the traffic will be as bad as expected
My dad, who is in a wheelchair, said there is a 2 mile radius block on any oarking and he will not be allowed drive down to stadium as traditionally done.
He has decided not to go.
Wouldnât fancy coming in that shitty road by Castlemartyr. traffic will be bedlam.
No avoiding castlemartyr really bar going cross country
Even with a sticker on the car? Thatâs ridiculous
@ChocolateMice, @backinatracksuit, @gilgamboa - unreal. I donât know what way I was looking at earlier maps but I thought you had to cross the river up by the city centre and scoot up and around to get to those spots by Mahon. I DID NOT KNOW there was some kind of exit to take a bridge or tunnel between Little Island and Kent Station to get you there. What is it? A bridge or that Jack Lynch tunnel or what? Itâs a gamechanger.
Even with the sticker.
What county are you from mate?
Thatâs a good plan alright, just as long as he is happy walking a half hour from the train station to PUC.
Ah there is. Conna, Lismore etc.
Donât get too excited. Its going to be hell no matter what way you work it.
Personally coming from where ye are, i would head into Glanmire, up into Mayfield, come down around Dillions Cross and St. Lukes and park there. Walk the rest.
You go right in the middle of Killeagh and come out well past Castlemartyr. Adds five minutes in distance but avoids a lot of the traffic.
JACK LYNCH TUNNEL - Exit for Mahon not far beyond it.
We have explained this how many times now???
Maybe @Fagan_ODowd could draw one of his legendary sketches?
I know - I drew him a picture and the penny dropped.
Good luck to all the Brave and Faithful travelling over the weekend.
Seems like itâs going to be an epic trip for all concerned.
Shuttle buses from train to PUC apparently for the lazy and infirm
As I said, if you go cross country
Every trawler from Kilmore Quay to Helvic Head is being used to carry folk from the sunny south east to Cork .
