England will be chasing 371.
They took most of the wickets via a barrage of short ball bowling at 80mph.
Lyon hobbled out & couldnāt run but Starc hit a 6 while he was at the other end & Lyon hit one 4 himself.
Watching this because the All Ireland football quarter finals arenāt being televised.
Hopefully England can pace themselves in chasing down this 371 target and realise that they have all day tomorrow as well that they donāt have to knock them all off today.
Root gone. 3/41.
Red rover.
Are England throwing away their wickets Bazball style or are they at least making the bowlers earn their wickets?
4/45
Root out to a short one. Brook has just been bowled by Cummins. Pope was bowled. Just switched it on.
The Green and Gold teams battering the British teams today at both Lordās and Croke Park.
Absolutely bizarre call by the third umpire to deny Australia the fifth wicket.
Very strange
No way Starc caught that. Same old Aussies, always cheating.
A 69 run, Duckett and Stokes 5th wicket stand sees England to stumps at 114/4.
England being savy enough with the bat this morning.
Havenāt been troubled really. Lyon is a terrible loss for the Australians.
Hah!
Carey brilliant there.
Ah Jayus.
A useful 132 partnership between Duckett and Stokes to move England to 177/5 and past the halfway mark of the 371 target. Once the 6th wicket falls though thereās a very long tail so Stokes and Bairstow really need to put on a lot of runs if thereās to be any hope of pulling it off.
The Aussies classless yet again, example #1247 @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy
Bairstow has not looked sharp on the gloves and didnāt look tuned in there at all. Like a school yard dismissal.
