Hilarious stuff last night. Some of the worst acting, script-writing and directing I have ever, ever witnessed but I simply couldn’t take my eyes off it. Tremendous. See the state of the lad that was trying to woo Jo and take her away from Dermot. Awesome. Dermot’s line to Jo when she said it was a goodbye kiss with Liam that meant nothing and it was only nostalgia and memories: ‘Well, here’s another Christmas memory for you - I’ll be spending tonight in the spare room’. Our gaff erupted with laughter. I wasn’t surprised that Shane McGowan’s an old pal of Leo Dowling’s either. Fooking hell.
That “cutting” line from Dermot produced the same reaction in my house too. Hilarity from start to finish in the show last night/
I was also glued to it. My ma remarked that had it been our late granny insisting on having it on, we’d have been going mad.

I heard that the actress was killed in the filming of the wedding scenes. Her family have given permission for the actual footage to be used to kill off her character.
Barry O’Hanlon knocks Ray and Gina down as he drives away from the wedding in a rage after finding that big headed bird of his did the sex with McAleer. He is also over the limit due to the previous nights drinking session so is carted off to chokey.
I wonder if he’ll be as keen for this incident to be on the front of his shitty little paper as he was when he hounded other people of carrickstown for stories.
Ray and Gina are getting the chop? Jesus, that’s harsh. Barry is a total dickhead, hopefully he get’s hung by the bollix for this.
