I beg mags never makes it back to Carrigstown from Canada/The Cruise…
Me too. I presume Renee and Christy get back together?
hmmm Renee
Huh??
voluptuous
Thats wrong ! very wrong!
No, please no
In fairness to nlgbbbbbbbbbbth, he is probably about the same vintage as Renee, so I think it understandable…
With a bit of luck she wont,Bandage will surely confirm that the actor playing Bernie must be already after surpassing the lad who was trying to get a spin off Jo a couple of Weeks ago as the worst actor in the history of Irish television???
You’d just about get away with it I’d say…
Surely Leo Dowling has that accolade well and truly in his possession.
the front of one of the red tops today has a piece about somebody forced to quit fair city…not sure which paper or actor/actress though
It’s the Star and it’s about Mags. I didn’t get to read it though. Somebody get a hold of it.
one of the fair city acctresses lives in the same estate as where my parents live/i grew up- nice lady but heard she was ill
it could be Mags -
she has been in it years, id say she would be 60ish & had red/brownish hair

I presume it’s the actress who plays Mags alright. She had a stroke in real life and I can totally understand why Fair City are letting her go. There’s no room for sentiment or loyalty in cutting edge drama, especially if an actress is struggling with mobility and is unable to speak. Thanks for the memories Mags but please close the door on your way out - that’s if there’s any movement in your arms.
I think it is a testament to Fair City absolute professionalism though, on fairness, that they didnt just forget about Mags and omit her from story lines.
They gave her the dignified exit one of the shows stalwarts deserved.
According to the paper it’s a motor nueron disease that Mags has and it’s fatal.
Mags now or the actress that plays her?
Fook, that’s an absolutely horrendous disease (there’s not really such thing as a good disease but you get my drift). That’s a shame - Mags was a good servant and a good wife to Charlie.
The real life person unfortunately.
