He’s one of the few making good money, probably on old terms. I remember Detective Deegan had to moonlight as a taxi driver to earn a living.
Why would anyone begrudge a fair city actor the money. It is top class output relative to its budget and one of the few decent home grown shows made on rte.
They work relatively hard on the show too when filming too. Typically 35 to 40 pages of dialogue shot per day where most other shows would do well to get 10 done in a day. It is fantastic value for money
