There’s no justice in the world when you see two decent fellas like Jimmy Doyle and Damien Halpin behind bars. A great storyline when you realise that the fire basically all originated from Victor’s promiscuity and Anto’s gambling.
You’d nearly think that it was all choreographed so that Damo would be in prison with all of these characters.
That happened after the Katy kidnapping came to light.
Then his sister came into it (nice looking lady from memory). He came back then, ended up killing her I think and was taken in.
I only tuned in tonight for first time in months - so who killed Laura Halpin?
Not known yet.
I know its their job but you’d wonder how Brigie De Courcy and the rest keep up with it all and make it make sense.
I thought Jimmy was killed off years ago in a storm in America on his honeymoon with Dolores and Harry Molloy’s daughter? Farrah wasn’t it?
You’d nearly expect Floyd Phelan to resurrect from the dead at this stage.

Spillane probably had something to do with it I’d say.
I could never take that character seriously since your man that plays him, a comedian, threw a strop that no one was listening to him when he did a gig at an Astro.ie awards ceremony one year.
I’d say I’m mixed up.
Jimmy subsequently married fellow mechanic Robin wasn’t it? They were a great couple.

Zoe, Dermot’s adopted daughter, saw someone acting suspiciously around the time Laura was murdered.
She went to the guards but was then subsequently followed by a mysterious figure who then attacked her before running off when disturbed.
Some eagle eyed person noticed that the masked man appeared in the credits with an actor’s name attributed! It turns out that the name was the same actor who played a fake shrink involved with Lucy, the mad lady obsessed with Dolores!
I notice that this same character is returning as part of the 35 year birthday! So I think it’s fair to say he has something to do with it!

That was Lorraine, played by Maeve McGrath who was a neighbour of mine growing up. She died in the hurricane, Jimmy survived.

Dolores has had no luck really.
