The goal today was like something out of League 2, as much of a nod to history as you can give

Mull of Kintyre was spine tingling

With ten to go he was feeling his hamstring/quad area. He defo didn’t look fully fit.

That hardly counts as an assist does it :joy:

Isn’t the mull of Kintyre in Scotland

The place is yes.

Even weirder than Munster singing the fields. At least its in the same country

Word is Aouar and Maupay are donel deals. Wolve were just dicking around with their asking price for MGW so used the money instead to add experience and squad depth. Smart

Another proven striker for a cool 15 mill :sunglasses:

What part of Nottingham are ye all from?

How many from side that got promoted are in 1st team now? Where has all the money come from?

Just seen there 3 out of starting 11. Huge changes

@Bod95 can trace his ancestry back to Friar Tuck

Playoff Final last year. Forest XI: Samba (Left) (GK); McKenna (Still there), Cook (Bench), Worrall (Still there); Colback (Injured), Garner (Loan), Zinckernagel (Loan), Yates (Injured), Spence (Loan); Davis (Loan) and Johnson(Still there).

A threadbare first 11 backed up by quality loans did the business for us last year. The loanees have returned to their parent clubs and we were basically half the guts of a first team down headed into the Premier league. Forest are essentialy building a brand new squad.

Greek fisherman Marinarkos is the source of the money, ownes Olympiakos. He was seeing saying the rosary on many occasions at the game yesterday. Big invesment, calculated risk. Heard the money Forest recieved for going up was worth multiple titles for Olympiakos winning titels in Greece. He struck gold with chairman Nicholas Randall QC and obviosly Steve Cooper. Its a gamble but after 23 years down and with Cooper calling the shots it’s a gamble worth playing.

And the fields of Athenry are in Galway, but that fact doesn’t seem to put the Munster and Celtic fans out.

I find munster rugby fans singing the fields to be equally as bizzare.

I’m still not over the Galways singing it at the All Ireland

Very strange that Potter is letting Maupay leave for €15 million. Reliant on a veteran Danny Welbeck up front. Forest should be fine now with Dennis and Maupay to score 10-12 goals a season each.

fixed that for you

Sure it’s our own take on a song, matters not a jot to me where it originated from.

Just glad we didn’t get Macca in to sing it last Sunday, there was strong rumours the club had him lined up. He would have been drowned out, and would be bizarrely singing the wrong words to his own song.
