And?

You should read the article. You might learn something :sunglasses:

Do you need me to read it for you?

I see we’ve only just gone and signed Renan Lodi from Athletico

Team v Spuds

Brennan, Jlingz and MGW all start. The world of football holds it breath

Less than a year ago Forest were bottom of the Championship. Now we have the best footballers on the planet falling over themselves to play for Steve Cooper

Balls

Forest playing all the football. Spurs lead 1-0 at the half.
A lot of huffing and puffing but the end product just hasn’t been there.

You get the feeling we could be here till next week and still won’t get the ball in the net. Just one of those days alas. A pity, Forest clearly the far superior outfit

Dinny bringing it

Richarlison acting the maggot here trying to waste time. Serious lack of class from Tottenham you can see why they’ve never won a European Cup

Err…Liverpool won a few of them and they are utter cunts.

Just home from a night out in Nottingham city centre, where the talent on display would impress even Roy Keane. We played well today, lack a bit of a cutting edge up front though. We can’t afford to start a match without a conventional striker. Any time the ball went in the box it was just a case of Sanchez repelling everything. Lingard was excellent while he was on the pitch, but neither he nor Gibbs White or Brennan Johnson are out and out strikers, they are playmakers more so and don’t get in the box in the same way Awoniyi or Dennis would.

It was classic Conte from Spurs, they did exactly what I feared they would do to us - soaking up lots of pressure, happy to let us have the ball. We pressed high so when we lost the ball and Spurs countered they really hurt us at times. Son’s pace and work rate coupled with Kane’s extraordinary ability to remain onside time after time meant we were constantly at risk once play broke up. That said, we had more than enough chances to take something from the game. The best chance fell to the wrong man when Worrall skied a great chance. Ironically enough he was superb other than that, putting in three incredible last ditch tackles/blocks. O’Brien, Lingard and that man Henderson again were also very good. Gibbs White and Brennan had their moments but final end product needs to be better.

If we play like that on a consistent basis, we’ll win 70% of the time. To give that showing against a top four side was encouraging. The team needs to be afforded the time to gel given the overhaul in players. We are still a work in progress but the signs are encouraging. Just need to do better in the final third.

Anything other than a crushing defeat at the Etihad on Wednesday night would be an acceptable result. We can only hope the performance is more Crystal Palace and less Bournemouth.

Highlight of the day - BJ cleaning that odious little cunt Richarlison after the latter started doing keepy uppies by the sideline. It was most satisfying.
