The Official Nottingham Forest 🌳 Supporters Thread

I’d hope for another go in England for him but you’re probably right. I thought the first few months at Spurs was exhilarating football. If he gets another go round, he needs to choose very carefully.

It’s possible Spurs broke his heart a bit as the couple of games I saw with Forest, I think he may have set up quite conservatively and he could be falling between two stools. He’s sixty years old, gotten way further than he ever could’ve thought, has more money than he can ever spend. Maybe he should step away.

I thought Gerard was astute not to go back to Rangers. Celtic are as poor as I have ever seen him and Brighton man has gone in at Hearts.

Postecoglou knew exactly what he was getting into.

He got a new manager bounce at Spurs which lasted exactly 10 league games. 26 points from 30 and top of the table. It all started to unravel in Game 11 at home to Chelsea. Opposition teams had figured him and Angeball out at that stage and it was 1 and three quarters league seasons of grimness after that.

You’d have to admire this Ange lad. Did as he promised at Spurs until they sacked him. Took a job with these highly suspect outfit and gets the chop in 6 weeks. He’ll get a grand exit package and not a bother on him. Aussie 1 Forest 0.

The Forest statement had 39 words. One for every day he was in charge.

It was a bad act going in there after what they done to Nuno.

A nothing club

Forest should be grand. They’ve 5 or 6 grand players but the summer striker signings look like duds. Need to go back to Chris Wood. They really miss Elanga.

Brilliant appointment

No later than this morning he was rumoured to be on the cusp of joining Glasgow Rangers.

Of course it’s a great opportunity for Roy Keane to turn back the clock and rejuvenate the club that set him on his path to fame. He’s waffling enough about Clough of late so he has a grĆ” for them….

Yeah!

Alex McCleish beat him by one day after he was fired after 40 days. Something for the Glasgow Rangers to crow about finally !

He’d be mad to take that on. Barring he wants a payoff, which he surely shouldn’t need after City

Please let this be true

Ange looks jaded. He bounced back too quickly from Spurs sacking and he should have had the cop on to realise that the way Forest played under Nuno was wholly opposite to the way Ange plays and that it would not work, at least in short/medium term. Of course he could have been clever too and knew that when it fails it’ll be a handy Ā£4-5m in compensation for a few months work. He needs to take the next 9-12 months off and return in a farmers league like Portugal or somewhere.

I find it hard to believe Mancini will leave Saudi Arabia for Forest as he’s on obscene money with little pressure. This seems like a load of hassle to come back to Europe for and less money. It’s got Dyche name all over it as they’re in a relegation fight now. The owner obviously wants sexy appointments so who knows.

Looks like Sean Dyche.
He’s living local…

He was in digs with Keane when Roy joined from Cobh

He’ll inevitably move back to Celtic when Brendan Rodgers leaves for a mid-table Premier League club I’d imagine.

That ship is hauling anchor as we speak. Rodgers is hardly Championship material now.

Although a couple of years in the desert might suit him. Ultimately he’s been found out…

Dychie has brought Woany and Stoney with him.

Propah Forest men.

It’s like Rangers bringing in Bazza and Billy Dodds and Allan McGregor.

Every club needs to have a reservoir of staunch stalwarts to call upon in a crisis to bring the Club X ness back to Club X.

Ryan Shawcross and Glenn Whelan for Stoke City caretakers in 2032.

Rogers should go to Stoke. Those Bet 365 people have pots of money. Brendan can help the team and relieve them of some of it.
