1-1 FT. Should really have been 3 points but fuck it weâre still unbeaten and weâre still top and we are going up!

âI see the East Midlandsâ second tier teams, Forest and Derby, ground out a draw.â
I agree with @Lazarus. A good point for Forest to keep their unbeaten run going.

"Forest might have had more possession and territory but they didnât make the Derby goalkeeper work enough. They remain unbeaten. Steve McClaren will be happy his team came back into it and managed to hold on with 10 men.
âFrom a neutral perspective it was breathtaking, end to end stuff.â
I agree with Neil breathtaking stuff but we need to find a way to get Assombolonga on the ball more. Losing two key components in the first half hardly helped mind you.
Antonio our best player again today

Lineker knows who the top two teams are in the EM. And neither of them are Leicester. The fact he even tweeted about us shows that we are always on his mind. Our greatness canât be denied. Regardless of whatever division we are in.
Couldnât see match earlier, watched it back later on. A mixed bag today, kept the ball well enough in two third but not enough end product in final third. Reid was poor, if judged by his usual high standards. Especially from set pieces. Looks to be a groin injury so hopefully wonât be out for more than a week. Cohen could have played his last game for us if that knee is gone again. To their credit, both Tesche & Osborn showed their class when introduced. Loads of energy and always looking for a pass on the deck. Our strength in depth this year is the difference. Played a little bit too much long ball for my liking up to Assombalonga - Keogh won most of the 50/50s yet Britt win many free kicks and was a constant menace. Took his goal brilliantly and is making @chewy louie look rather silly now.
Delighted with Antonioâs performance. Had the beating of Shotton every time, donât know how he escaped a yellow card despite persistent fouling. In fact I thought Derby could have seen more than one red - Eustace committed enough fouls to earn four or five yellows. And good auld Henri for us should have also got the line for that tackle on Hughes, even if the albino cunt deserved it. Lansbury likes to leave the foot in. Our defence was top class today, the goal was scrappy and you couldnât blame anyone as such for it. It was the only way the Sheep were going to score, they couldnât break Mancienne or Hobbs down if they were there til tomorrow morning. Hunt is a gem of a right back. So positive and composed on the ball.
These derby games are always tight and cagey with little space given, so Iâm taking this as a point earned rather than two points dropped. To be fair Schteeve had the Sheep well set up today and were difficult to break down. Would have liked to see Fryatt brought on instead of Weldwijk. We needed more bodies in the box and more passing on the deck. Didnât see the pint in taking off Benny Osborn who had a decent 50 odd minutes.
Fulham No Defence next up at CG on Wednesday, we really need to be taking maximum points from that game.
From reports on the Forest game it seems Reidâs annual decline has begun earlier this season, another âphantom injuryâ, deary me, Iâd say the physio at Forest struggles to keep a straight face when treating the fat fuck.
Reid looked in good nick until he went off. Certainly down in weight. Gem of a player. He makes it look effortless at times at Championship level. He carried on for 10 minutes more than he should have with the groin injury (I think it was groin). Looked genuinely upset too. Heâd be a good option for MOâN to have, get as many ball players in the squad as possible.
This was a cracking game, no shirking tackles, full blooded, end to end stuff, much better than any game thrown up in the Premiership this weekend. That Buxton lad for Derby looks like a proper old school knuckle dragging centre half. The centre forward and left winger for Forest look dangerous on the break. They should be playing at the top level again next season.
Seeing now that Fryatt wasnât even on the bench because of a pelvic injury. Time to look to the loan market me thinks.

That was quite the exception to the rule. Derby beat a Forest side ravaged by injuries that day, and in the dying stages of the Dark One, aka Billy Daviesâ rule. That and our 5-2 win in 2010 are unusual. Normally these matches are tight, dull affairs that either end all square or won by the odd goal. Yesterdayâs game was a very typical East Midlands derby.
I like that forest shirt if they took that sponsor logo off it

Donât know about this. Forest only have 2 European Cups, reckon Andy could have excelled at a club with 5 or 6 if only heâd applied himself dammit.
Heâs at a big club, mister

As an aside, yesterdayâs attendance of 30,227 was the highest since the City Ground became all seater. It beat the previous record of 30,067 set against Manchester United in 1995.

Easily the worst looking side op paper weâll have started with this year. After Derby our official injury list is Reid, Cohen, Hobbs and Fryatt.
Fox looks wobbly as fuck in the centre back row but Stuart obviously feels Wilson and Lascelles are still lacking in match fitness. Surprised Vaughan doesnât start but may the same applies to him.
Prediction 3-1, Britt 2, Antonio, Fox og
