I’ve seen this film before. Forest lose narrowly in the play-off semi-finals. Billy Davies marches down the pitch to salute the Forest fans in the away end at Turf Moor and the supporters sing defiantly and think of better days ahead.
He played Paterson through with a lovely touch for the 1st goal(which I see has gone down as an og, but it should be shooters goal for Pato) and with Forest piling on the pressure he whipped in 3 exquisite crosses in a row to make the 3rd. The ball kept getting knocked back out of Yeovils box and Reid had to work his socks off to get back onside before the ball was played back to him to whip it in again and eventually the pressure told with a smacker from Cox coming back off the post and my beloved Terrorist there to knock in the rebound on his debut. This was in injury time so not bad going from Reid considering he’s so unfit and indifferent(or at least that’s what Im told;)).
Tough shout for motm today between Cox and Moussi who both look back to something like their best and new boy Danny Fox who looked like a natural at left back before he went off after taking a knock. Forest weren’t at their best today but still won comfortably, a good sign and Djebbour wrapping up the points was the icing on the cake. This is the best squad I reckon we’ve put together in nearly 20 years I’d say, exciting times
Hope Forest go up this season, proper club.
I know that film off by heart but this is the new directors cut, digitally remastered, better special effects and with a happy ending.
