DC are picking their game up…and spending some money.

Suicide Squad casting:
Jared Leto – Joker
Will Smith – Deadshot
Tom Hardy – Rick Flag
Margot Robbie – Harley Quinn
Jai Courtney – Boomerang
Cara Delevingne – Enchantress
Jesse Eisenberg is also in talks to play Lex Luthor again.

I enjoyed Captain America so far. The second Thor was only ok, had way more potential. The new spiderman franchise is also decent.

@cluaindiuic Have you been watching Agents of SHIELD? I wasn’t sold on S01 but the events of Winter Soldier and HYDRA gave it a nice twist and really kicked it on a bit. I liked the lead up to the mid season finale, but can’t say if I’m sold on the final episode and the direction it seems to be going from here. Still, all that said, its very decent and very well written with some good one liners in it, especially for Coulson.

Also great to see Palicki back on tv

No, one of those ones I’ve been meaning to get around to. The fact that it’s the same crew that made Dollhouse has me hesitant.
Ant Man trailer appeared last week. Looks meh. My expectations are low for that one.

Marvel are really testing the boundaries with some of their recent announcements, Guardians really have them the confidence to go all out, but like you I’m quite dubious of Antman. Wright is seething he got the bullet but more fool he for thinking he could lay down the law to a multi billion dollar entity.

Deadpool could be the best of the lot. Here’s hoping they don’t have to go PG-13 on it, they need an R rating to get this one right.

Holy hesus he’s hack

Hi bud

Unreal!

I knew I could draw him out.

Helcome hack hate!

Harrup!

Only got around to watching agents of shield in the last week or so. It’s a bit shiny and poppy, but the way they have tied it into everything else is masterful. The marvel cinematic and televisual universe is just an incredible piece of work. I cant fucking wait for avengers.

Fantastic 4 trailer appeared last week. Looks promising.

How much of it have you watched?

Wasn’t sold on F4 trailer but I was never much of a fan of them anyway. Am I right in saying it’s like Spider-Man in that Marvel don’t have the movie rights anymore and therefore can’t come into the MCU?

I’m caught up with the US.

F4 is owned by fox. So in theory they could feature in an Xmen movie, but given that the next XMen movie is set in the 80s makes that unlikely.

Spiderman is Sony. Out on its own.

I haven’t watched Agent Carter yet.

From the fall of Shield and Winter Soldier it really found its legs, a very enjoyable show, just a big step to take now from here with Skye etc. Yer wan is 50, FIFTY! Unreal.

Fantastic 4 is:

  1. Directed by the guy that did Chronicle. Josh Trank
  2. Written by the guy who wrote Days of Future Past. Simon Kinberg.
