Thunderbolts* is excellent. Really enjoyed it.
2 after scenes. One mid, one after credits.

Last Superman trailer is out…id post it up but im daft.
Captain America was really poor. It’s astounding they can put so much money into a production and no one read the final script and said hold on a minute there’s barely enough plot here for an episode of a TV show. It also didn’t do anything to move on the overarching story or connect up with anything else.
Thunderbolts was great. They were smart enough to centre it on Florence Pugh despite not being a big marvel character, she’s amazing and carries the whole thing. But again, didn’t really move on an overarching narrative, exciting post credit scene aside.
Three series and two films left before the first avengers film and another series before the second, I think. Seems very little to try tie everything all together.
I see the final Superman trailer on YouTube there…can someone do the necessary? Please and thanks.
Eventually saw “Brave New World” and “The Thunderbolts”.
“Brave New World” has an utterly shite script, the dialogue is horribly pedestrian and the editing is bizarre. Mackie and the guy playing Isiah were the only things going for it. Wasn’t quite as bad as “Secret Invasion” but it was even more forgettable.
“The Thunderbolts” in contrast has a strong sense of humour running through it that combines well with the better than usual action on show. It even reminded me of Deadpool at times, with the execution of Taskmaster for example. In saying that, the void stuff and the whole last 20 minutes were pretty uninteresting. Good mid and post credits stuff.
Read that the director of thunderbolts has been appointed to do X-Men
Ironheart ended up pretty shite. Introduced a new major villain though, probably for the next Spiderman.
Wildly varying reports. Not boding well
David Corenswet takes on the blue-and-red mantle admirably, and glimpses of Gunn’s signature sense of fun shine through — but a lack of humanity, originality and cohesion means the movie around them just doesn’t work.
We will just have to wait and see for ourselves, I’m expecting the worst and hoping for the best. There hasn’t been a quality Superman movie since 1980 all things told and even that was a production mess with two different cuts.
71 on Metacritic, which is fine. Will see it next week.
Here’s hoping. People are so eager to give something a kicking these days.
Have you seen Superman yet?
Nah, not had a chance. You?
No I might sneak in next week at some stage.
Very entertaining but lots of issues. Well worth watching.
Will see FF on Friday.
F4 is grand. Good not great.
Very faithful to the comics. Good building for future.
Two post credit. Leave after mid credit. 2nd is no value.
Superman is worth a watch. Nicholas Hoult is a great Lex Luther.
