Leighton Baines’ defending for Ramsey’s goal yesterday. My sweet Lord, Baines is the worst player I’ve ever seen in the EPL. What a fucking donkey.

+1

baines is beyond shit, I note too that a SPL journeyman is now their star player now . seamus coleman gets his game too ffs , see when he passed the ball out of defence, good Christ ,

Thank god we got a badly needed win at the weekend. We look such a more threatening team with Ross Barkley in it.I thought he tore Villa apart on Saturday.Lukakus goal was scrappy enough but hopefully that will be the start of a scoring run from him and what a brilliant cross from Leighton Baines for Seamie Colemans goal.:clap:Paul Lambert was moaning a bit afterwards saying that people call them a top 7 team even though were still in front of them in the table.Well Everton have been regular finishers in the top half of the table and competing for champions league places. We have been finishing well ahead of Villa over the past few seasons who have always been down near the relegation zone.Hopefully now we’ll drive on and keep climbing that league table.

Coleman,Barkley and the very under rated McCarthy were badly missed in the last few games.baines seems to have found himself after a shaky start and jags is adding goals to his game.
Things are looking up at the mo…

Great clips here of the atmosphere inside the Gwladys Street End.

It was a good draw in France the other day.It keeps us ticking over at the top of the group.I think Burnley will be tough to beat tomorrow for about the first 60 minutes but our greater class should shine through in the end. It’s important to start putting the wins back to back now.Oh and i was searching out clips of the Wimbledon last day escape match in 1994 and i came across this.Horrible times for the club but a brilliant video all the same.It brings a lump to my throat tbh.

I agree and disagree,I think Everton will win tomorrow by 2/3,they rested 6/7 v Lille and got a very good point against them.colman, baines and McCarthy are back and are very important to the way Everton play.along with baines nearly back to full fitness and lukaku also nearly fully fit I can see Everton pushing on and up the table.

It was a wise decision not to start Barkley and it worked for us.You’re prediction was bang on Faldo because we gifted them their goal due to Lukakus mistake! He made amends shortly afterwards though.Class goal by Eto to finish them off. We were well in control in that second half really.Three points secured and Lukakus scoring again.A good afternoon indeed.I was worried by our poor start to the season but those worries are easing now. We’ll win more matches than we lose from here on in.

Were through to the last 32 of the Europa League and we now have a winnable tie against young boys from Switzerland. The league performances have been very disappointing so far. This is Robertos first sticky spot as Everton manager but unlike other clubs we always back our managers at Everton (we didn’t even fire the only two managers in our history to get us relegated!) and i back Martinez to turn it around. We had a dreadful second full season under Moyes as well. This team should be doing a lot better.Last Saturday was a throwback to the Walter Smith years.

The hotel is booked and the plane tickets are ordered and the plan is to watch the match against Sunderland on May 9th.I would take a seat anywhere at Goodison but i’ll try and get seats in the Upper Gwladys Street end. This will be my first trip to Liverpool and Goodison as well!

Will you chance a prostitute & a bag of chips from the local?

Could be a relegation decider. Plenty of whoors in Liverpool

A great ground. I’ve been a dozen or so times the last 12-18 months. The Medlock is the pub we hit before hand. I’d recommend it.

I just hope i get an unobstructed seat! All the seats in the Park End have unobstructed views but the atmosphere wouldn’t be the same as in the rest of the ground. There’s plenty of great pubs in the vicinity of the ground like the Brick and the Winslow etc.The plan is to get either the number 19 bus to Walton Lane or the number 20 to County Road from the city centre.Eitherway hopefully Everton will get the win!

Park end is a grand view but as you said atmosphere is not as good. I’m normally in the main stand upper tier. Old school wooden seats! Was at moyes last home game v West Ham and I’ll never forget the atmosphere when Everton went two up. The whole stadium was rocking.

Bring back Moysie.

Lukaku has been pretty poor this season. Same questionable on pitch attitude as last season but not near as many goals to make up for it.

It’s hard to blame Lukaku at times for being a bit frustrated. Evertons build up play has been seriously laboured this season with no urgency, conviction, or imagination, meaning Lukaku has had few opportunities to play to his strengths.
They have become so predictable that defences now just sit on the edge of the penalty area, keeping Lukaku in check and knowing that Baines and Coleman are no longer getting around the back to pull the ball back for him.

Everton have been figured out by other teams now and worryingly they are also leaking goals with reckless abandon. This seasons team have looked more like Wigan under Martinez than the Everton of last season. I think they’ll get out of this rut but it’s more than just Lukaku who needs to pull up their socks, Coleman, Barry, Barkley, Baines & Howard have all been very disappointing of late.

a nothing club with a strong anti Oirish element of late

Was Howard dropped today, or was he injured?
