The Official TFK Farming Thread

My dad had a cow that would arrive into the parlour an hour early for milking and would pull the ropes to release the nuts. Very smart animals at times.

We had a polly cow we used to milk years ago who would be in the byre every evening waiting to be milked.

No. A Dub in the Royal County.

Spuds, cabbage, Turnips, Celary was the farming I knew in north county Dublin. This is all new to me.

Some cows are ridiculously clever.

Most of them can open a gate no bother, flicking the handle up and then to the left. You’d need all gates tied up with wire these days.

Don’t kid yourself Jimmy

Hahaha we had one the exact same, well the nuts bit anyway

Farmers moaning about the weather yet?

No, but we’ll shortly be seeking Governmental intervention by way of some form of fodder subsidy. Cattle atin’ silage designed for winter consumption in June surely isn’t right.

It’s all very fine for you with your guaranteed salary, yacht and tennis clubs but here it’s like looking at bullocks atin’ €20 notes all day long. You’d be driven demented by times.

It’s powerful out. The barley is hopping out of the ground.

Dusht rising off the fusion here…
