The official TFK musicals thread (it's a hard knock life)

Not a patch on the original

A far superior version

We’ll have to agree to disagree on that one

Ready to go here, the kids are really up for it

How was it mate?

Have your family got the bug?

The 3 year old lost interest after about an hour but I’m not surprised at that. They both loved the songs especially anything which involved the orphanage, but the dialogue didn’t interest them. All and all a successful debut but we’ll give it at least 6 months before we try again

Great stuff

The sound of music is a firm favorite of mine. Growing up in rural Tipperary in the 80s/90s I kept that to myself.

PS.

The NCH is a great venue, the acoustics are fantastic

True, there is some old world charm about it

Matilda coming to Bord Gais, how the fuck did i miss this? All sold out for the days we can make it, what would be the best way of going about trying to get 6 tickets?

It’s been sold out for months. Shrek might be more realistic brah

I don’t remember hearing anything about it, my little ones would be mad to see it. My youngest dressed up as Matilda for world book day, she’s very big in the house right now. Are you going yourself?

Same as you, tried to book a month ago and it was sold out

How many tickets do you need, bro?

Wizard of Oz at the NCH booked for Christmas

There’s a Tipperary based poster on here that brings his family to a pantomime/musical every Yuletide, he’s even taken the time to review one here before.
